Garra Cocktail Bar
We designed this apron for the girls at Garra, the cocktail bar at Barceló Torre de Madrid. It is an apron-dress that fastens at the back with a gold-colored metal zipper and has a mandarin collar, made from recycled polyester and organic cotton summer twill.
A cool, breathable, comfortable fabric of excellent quality that stands up well to washing.
The embroidery was designed based on the letter “G” for Garra, the eye as a visual element highly representative of Art Nouveau, and whose eyelashes simulate the claws of the bear, emblem of Madrid and the hotel, whose lobby houses a spectacular giant bear.
The boys’ uniform is based on the same concept, and both are perfectly integrated into the cocktail bar space thanks to all the graphic elements I worked with when translating the concept into the language of clothing.
